Shakira was spotted dining with a mystery man in Miami this week – after confessing she wasn’t ready for a ‘formal relationship.’

The 47-year-old pop star was spotted enjoying an intimate meal with her male companion in a glamorous rooftop setting with romantic views of the ocean and the skyline.

Showing off her shapely legs in a flatteringly high-cut outfit, the Hips Don’t Lie singer shot a charming smile at her friend.

He responded by leaning over the table towards her, which was tucked away near the railing, giving the pair privacy.

Her night out comes two years after splitting with longtime love, Spanish football star Gerard Pique, who was rumored to have been unfaithful to her.

Gerard and Shakira were together for 11 years and had two children — sons Milan, 11, and Sasha, nine — before separating in 2022.

Gerard allegedly cheated on Shakira with his employee and now girlfriend, Clara Chia, 26.

When asked about her dating life in June, Shakira replied: ‘I’m not thinking about that. What space do I have for a man right now?’

‘What can I tell you, I like men. That’s the problem. I shouldn’t like them with everything that’s happened to me, but imagine how much I like men that I still like them,’ she told Rolling Stone.

 Shakira has been romantically linked to A-list actor Tom Cruise and F1 racing champion Lewis Hamilton since her split with Gerard.

In March, Shakira was also been spotted with Emily In Paris hunk Lucien Laviscount, 32, who starred in the sexy music video for her song Puntería.

But Shakira insisted to Rolling Stone that she is not interested in a relationship at the moment, as the well-being of her children is her primary focus.

‘I think my kids would have to be very prepared for that, and their emotional and psychological well-being is the priority,’ the She Wolf hitmaker admitted.

But she appeared to hint that she isn’t opposed to a future fling. ‘Hey, I’m not opposed to having friends,’ the mother-of-two told the outlet.

Shakira also declared that she’s got her ‘sexy back.’

‘More swag. I got my swag back. And I got my sexy back,’ she said.

It’s a remarkably positive turnaround from the pain Shakira endured two years ago, when she split from Gerard and was embroiled in a tax evasion legal battle in Spain.

Her father, who was 90 years old at the time, had also suffered a terrible fall. He is now on the mend following six surgeries.

The music icon then vulnerably described the sacrifices she made during her relationship with Gerard and how she has begun to find herself again since their split.

‘When you leave a relationship of many years, there are things about yourself that seem to have been lost along the way,’ she told the publication.

Shakira made Gerard and their children her top priority during their relationship and even moved to Barcelona for him, as he played soccer for FC Barcelona.

But during her time in Spain, Shakira noticed certain things about her were changing.

‘I was in sweatpants in Barcelona!’ she told the outlet. Referencing the glossy pants she was wearing, she added, ‘I mean, these are sweatpants, but they’re Amiri. In Barcelona, I was wearing sweatpants from the Gap, with my hair in a bun.’

Shakira has since moved to Miami with their children and is happy to report her Caribbean accent is beginning to return.

‘My accent! My Caribbean accent is back now that I’m out of Spain,’ she gushed. ‘Now I’m hanging out with Barranquilleras from my kid’s school and surrounded by Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Colombians. Yeah, my accent is back, thank God.’

In April, Shakira said she still believes in love and is holding out hope of finding a romance like that of her parents, who have been together for 50 years, with the star describing monogamy as ‘utopia’.
